What is a lip and chin wax?
A lip and chin wax removes fine and coarse facial hair from the upper lip, chin, and jawline. Facial skin is thinner and more reactive than body skin, so we use a low-temperature hard wax that hardens around the hair and releases without pulling at the surface — or all-natural sugar paste if your skin runs sensitive or you're using active skincare. The whole appointment takes ten to fifteen minutes, and results hold for two to four weeks.

Before your appointment

No. Waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth comes back with a soft, tapered tip — the opposite of the blunt stubble shaving creates.
Can I get my lip waxed if I use retinol?+
Stop retinol, tretinoin, and exfoliating acids for at least five to seven days beforehand. Waxing over active retinoids can lift skin.
Does lip waxing cause breakouts?+
Occasionally, and usually from touching the area afterwards. Keeping the area clean and makeup-free for the rest of the day prevents most of it.
